Man of the Hour

With summer arriving soon comes along the wedding season. When most people think of weddings, the bride’s dress tends to grab the center of attention. However, what about the groom? The groom should look just as nice as the bride. Consider giving the groom some TLC (tender, love, and care) by getting him a suit from The Modern Gent.

Hottest Trends for “Save the Date” Invitations

Recently engaged? Ready to send out those “Save the Date” invitations? Check out the hottest trends in the industry and book a meeting with Papered Wonders, Inc. to create a unique invitation and to get your guest excited for the big day too!

Envelope Liners

What is usually the first thing you see when opening an invitation? The inner layer of the envelope is often forgotten or left untouched. One of the current trends takes advantage of that inner layer by adding an extra element or design. It not only adds a finishing touch, but it’s the perfect way to enhance the invitation.

Geometric Details

Looking for a modern or nontraditional invitation? Bold lines, triangles, squares, and even bright colors are only a few ideas that can create an edgy look.

Hand-drawn maps that represent your hometown or state is a fun way to get your guests involved and excited for the big day! Including details such as the location of the ceremony and reception by using iconic symbols is a great addition.

Over the years monograms have really become popular. They are taking on a new, fresh look by adding components that truly express the bride and groom. Go the extra mile by adding monograms not only to the invitations but to other items such as cocktail napkins.

A Weddings Unveiled Summer Affair

If you missed out on StudioWed Atlanta’s event in late March (while this post is a bit overdue), here’s your chance to catch up! We had many individuals in attendance; ranging from engaged couples, industry professionals as well as our own talented vendors. Our very own, Janet Howard covered the event all the while snapping photos of our guests, the amazing displays, and delicious food.

Edge Design Group arranged the stunning floral centerpiece which included an array of white orchids, blush roses, and cream hydrangeas. Classic Party Rental brought together all the lovely gold china and goblets for the table setting. Nuage Designs solidified the Spring Rosé theme with their light & rosy linens. And Unique Event Elements completed the look with champagne draping.

Low Country Catering had everyone getting in line for second helpings with their yummy cheese and assorted meat plates while Cathead Vodka‘s signature cocktail with blackberries was the perfect excuse to wet your whistle, and  A Pinch Bakery‘s desserts satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth with sugar cookies and cake pops. More sweets? Cult Carts provided the party with cotton candy in flavors of mango, watermelon, and even coconut.

Exquisite Sounds kept the party pumping by spinning cocktail rhythms for everyone. Just across the studio floor was our photo booth set up by Shutterbooth, where guests could take countless photos to then take home.

Natt Taylor even showcased some of her fashion designs. Don’t these ladies look lovely? Absolutely perfect for the Spring/Summer season.

Of course, no party is complete without an event planner. A special thanks to Sarah Day of SAS Weddings for collaborating with many of our vendors and in house staff to make this event possible. It was a fantastic time for everyone involved and we are looking forward to future events.

For more information on our vendors, make sure to check out our ‘Wedding Professionals’ tab on StudioWed Atlanta’s website. Thanks for attending!
