Okay, just admit it – It’s everyone’s dream to be a drop-dead diva on the regular. I’ll even admit to purchasing new beauty products because I think they just might help me attain Kardashian-level flawlessness.

Well all that changed when Mr. Scoobie West taught me how to do, “the cheek.” He whisked into the studio one day, all swanked out purple suede shoes and everything and said, “honey, let’s give you a little cheek.” Know that this was a much appreciated gesture, as I was on my way to do me and my honey’s engagement shoot… so a little color was absolutely necessary.

Scoobie showed me the easiest tricks to making my make-up look natural, flawless and pretty, but noticeable. He offered insight on how to change up your make-up for occasions like photo shoots or in-person interviews. And from someone who really just slapped on mascara and lip gloss before she headed out the door, the fact that a little extra effort wasn’t all that unattainable made gettin’ pretty a whole lot easier.

So, here’s some bragging on my friend Scoobie. He does hair and make-up often for our own StudioWed vendors, including Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events, Janet Howard of Janet Howard Studio and me, your Studio Manager!
