{"id":9619,"date":"2010-11-17T13:52:56","date_gmt":"2010-11-17T18:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.studiowedatlanta.com\/atlantablog\/?p=973"},"modified":"2014-01-08T22:05:42","modified_gmt":"2014-01-08T22:05:42","slug":"something-old-something-new-recap-presidential-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studiowed.net\/atlanta\/something-old-something-new-recap-presidential-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Something Old Something New Recap: Presidential House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m fairly young and haven&#8217;t had the opportunity to do a whole lot of traveling, so when I found out that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ritzcarlton.com\/en\/Properties\/ReynoldsPlantation\/Default.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation<\/a> booked the $4,100\/night Presidential House for our StudioWed team to stay in for the weekend, I was super pumped. After all, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/uberblog\/b189760_carrie_underwood_marries_her_canadian.html\" target=\"_self\">rumor has it that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher stayed in the Presidential House<\/a> during their wedding festivities. It would be my first stay in a Ritz-Carlton, not to mention that this house boasts two king bedrooms and two double bedrooms, all with their own differently-styled bathrooms and balconies. It also has an awesome kitchen, a huge basement, porches, and a pool, all overlooking the beautiful Lake Oconee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janethowardstudio.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-975\" title=\"Presidential House\" src=\"https:\/\/studiowed.net\/atlanta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/14.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"939\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Can you tell I miss this place yet?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janethowardstudio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Janet Howard<\/a> did a most excellent job of capturing the Presidential House at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge when they hosted us and our weekend guests for a brunch. What can I say, I love my baths.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janethowardstudio.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-985\" title=\"Presidential House Balcony\" src=\"https:\/\/studiowed.net\/atlanta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Balcony1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"639\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These next two are of the basement (<a href=\"http:\/\/scoobiewest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Scoobie West<\/a> made this his Man Cave for the weekend).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janethowardstudio.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-987\" title=\"Presidential House\" src=\"https:\/\/studiowed.net\/atlanta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Basement1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"639\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janethowardstudio.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-988\" title=\"Presidential House\" src=\"https:\/\/studiowed.net\/atlanta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/B21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"639\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And now for the brunch. I&#8217;m feeling full just thinking about it.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more to come!
