We are so excited to welcome Locker Partners to our family! They are one of our new cinematographers here at StudioWed. We are in love with their fun personalities! They describe themselves below, in 5 quick statements.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We have a sense of humor.<\/b>\u00a0 Our true \u201cstart\u201d in video production was creating music videos, but before we worked with local musicians we made a handful of comedic short videos (including two \u201cadvice column\u201d series) using friends as actors and dressing Mary Grace in silly getups.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We do all our own stunts.\u00a0 <\/b>When you hire LockerPartners to film your big day, expect Emily or Mary Grace to lead the charge and 99.99% of the time both of us will be present wielding the cameras.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We\u2019ve got stealth.\u00a0 <\/b>Sure, you\u2019re a fascinating couple, but most couples aren\u2019t accustomed to the paparazzi.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been referred to as \u201cvideo ninjas\u201d for our unobtrusive style of filming (and, also maybe, our all black attire).\u00a0 The best way to get that candid moment is to make them believe you\u2019re not even there.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Video is our art, not our job.<\/b>\u00a0 Our backgrounds are in studio art and theater which influences the way we see the world and approach it with our cameras.\u00a0 We view each wedding video we create as not just a keepsake for the celebrating families but as a work of art (turtlenecks not required).<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We\u2019re huge documentary fans.\u00a0 <\/b>Real life is a whole lot stranger and much more fantastic than anything one could make up.\u00a0 And that is our favorite part of capturing weddings \u2013 it\u2019s a once in a lifetime event and there are a lot of moments that we know you\u2019ll want to remember \u2013 even the strange and fantastic ones.<\/p>\n
