For many brides to be, selecting wedding ceremony music<\/a> can be a daunting task. There\u2019s not as much pressure when it comes to choosing songs for the reception since most people are eating, chatting (and drinking!) while listening to the music, but during the ceremony, all eyes are on the Bride, and all ears listening to the music she\u2019s walking down the aisle to.<\/p>\n

The best place to start is deciding what style or genre of music you want for your ceremony.\u00a0 Are you looking for something traditional or more contemporary?\u00a0 Certain instrumentations such as guitar or harp? Country music or Latin Jazz?\u00a0 There are many different routes you can take, but choosing something that represents you and your spouse, while encompassing your wedding vision, will make the music memorable for years to come.<\/p>\n

Though instrumental music is a great option for ceremony music, don\u2019t feel like you can\u2019t step outside that. There are many great love songs with words that can be used during your ceremony. And if you have a favorite song you want to walk down the aisle to, but you just want the music and not the words, a number of groups arrange instrumental versions of popular tunes- check out the Vitamin String Quartet, O\u2019Neill Brothers, and Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Another idea is to use the music or score from one of your favorite movies.
