There are many vendors that brides have their work cut out to find, which StudioWed certainly makes the process easier, but one that brides should never skimp on is a wedding planner/coordinator. Many brides see this as a luxury item, but who said that your sanity wasn’t a luxury?! Kristin, of Simply Stunning Events, has become one of my favorite people because of her honesty and her desire to make a bride’s day her best! Get to know Kristin and see some of the fruits of her labor!

{Kristin}: I’ve worked in the wedding industry now for 3 years and LOVE it.  It’s the perfect mix of creativity, business, and organization for my type-A personality. This is my full time job and career which isn’t the case for most wedding planners and allows me to give all couples the time and attention they deserve!

I am quite obsessed with organization and making lists (to-do lists, shopping lists, any sort of list). I could pretty much spend all day in the Container Store or Staples figuring out more ways to organize my work and life.

Before working in the wedding industry I worked in the entertainment industry (Hollywood!) as the 1st assistant to an executive producer of television and award shows. Basically I was Anne Hathaway in the Devil Wears Prada or Lloyd from Entourage. The job was very hard, super stressful but I learned a ton and developed a thick skin. Surprisingly, I use so much of what I learned from that job now in planning and coordinating weddings and also running a business.


I love dogs and am lucky to own the three most adorable ones on earth. We have a male Puggle named Dudley, a female Puggle named Cali, and a tiny Min-pin/Chihuahua mix (a “Chipin”) named Jagger.

I am a completely natural blonde. No joke, I really am. {She really is!! :)}
