We love welcoming new members to StudioWed! It means that you as brides/grooms get to experience more of Denver’s best vendors, all in one location. Our newest photographer is Christina Kiffney Photography. You can learn more about Christina and her work below.

• I love having a job that allows me to share joy. I hear every day how much it means to people to have beautiful moments captured forever, and it warms my heart!
• I’ve had dozens of art shows, which is how I started my career in photography.
• I love the variety and diversity of life. I’m a city girl who lives in the mountains, a homebody who loves to travel, and I thrive on meeting new and different types of people.
• I grew up in an international family, so our family reunions had many accents and languages spoken, and lots of wonderful food! And I picked up a travel bug that’s taken me all over the world.
• I have a beautiful baby girl with big cheeks and an even bigger smile named Camille. She and my husband Andy rock my world.

Intricate Icings has been busy with new cake designs, including new Boutique Cakes and Cake Pops. See what’s new with Rachael and her team!

Boutique Cakes

Intricate Icings is excited to offer a new line of cakes… Boutique cakes are perfect for intimate gatherings and serve at least 15 people. They are smaller 6″x 6″ round versions of our high quality cakes featuring designs for all occasions. They are launching their new line with fall and winter designs, but soon they’ll have Boutique cakes for more traditional occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and showers.  You can find additional information on their blog. Boutique cakes must be ordered at least one week in advance and cost $125 each.

Winter Cake Pops

Intricate Icings is excited to offer our Winter Cake Pops class.  In this hands-on class you’ll spend 3 hours in their professional kitchen, learning tips on how to make the perfect cake pop.  Then let your inner artist shine as you decorate three different variations of cake pops. Even better, you will bring home a dozen of your creations to enjoy with family & friends (a $40 value). Classes take place on:

Class cost: $65 includes all supplies for class use & 12 decorated cake pops!

Students will be placed on a first come, first served basis.

We are so excited to welcome Locker Partners to our family! They are one of our new cinematographers here at StudioWed. We are in love with their fun personalities! They describe themselves below, in 5 quick statements.

–       We have a sense of humor.  Our true “start” in video production was creating music videos, but before we worked with local musicians we made a handful of comedic short videos (including two “advice column” series) using friends as actors and dressing Mary Grace in silly getups.

–       We do all our own stunts.  When you hire LockerPartners to film your big day, expect Emily or Mary Grace to lead the charge and 99.99% of the time both of us will be present wielding the cameras.

–       We’ve got stealth.  Sure, you’re a fascinating couple, but most couples aren’t accustomed to the paparazzi.  We’ve been referred to as “video ninjas” for our unobtrusive style of filming (and, also maybe, our all black attire).  The best way to get that candid moment is to make them believe you’re not even there.

–       Video is our art, not our job.  Our backgrounds are in studio art and theater which influences the way we see the world and approach it with our cameras.  We view each wedding video we create as not just a keepsake for the celebrating families but as a work of art (turtlenecks not required).

–       We’re huge documentary fans.  Real life is a whole lot stranger and much more fantastic than anything one could make up.  And that is our favorite part of capturing weddings – it’s a once in a lifetime event and there are a lot of moments that we know you’ll want to remember – even the strange and fantastic ones.
