We are excited to welcome Style Down the Aisle to StudioWed! Maureen is one of six wedding stylists in the world, so she provides a very unique and wonderful service! Here is a little information about Maureen and Style Down the Aisle.

With over 10 years of experience, Maureen Mika takes on the job of styling couples, with a great attention to detail, and a solid knowledge of the industry.  After an initial consultation, Maureen searches out the shops that carry the looks to fit the style and budget of her couples.  She then handles scheduling appointments, alteration fittings to ensure that her couples know they are making confident and beautiful choices for their big day.  After selecting the perfect looks, Maureen is available for ‘On-the-Day’ Styling whether in Colorado or worldwide. With a wedding fashion stylist on-hand to worry about the details on the day of your wedding, everyone is free to enjoy the celebration! I will be there to assist in bustling your gown, last minute steaming and to care for any falling hems or loose buttons for you and your party. In addition, I will also attend your photography session to ensure every shot looks flawless.

E-Fashion Planning: This is a special service for the couples that are planning everything themselves (DIY), but need advice and assistance with the fashion styling for their wedding. With E-Fashion Planning from Style down the Aisle you get unlimited email contact with me when you have questions and need advice on the fashions for your wedding. I offer guidance and support, which will give you confidence in making the right fashion decisions.

The Mile High Bridal Experience: The Mile High Bridal Experience is a unique service that takes your average dress selection process to a whole new level. The package includes a luxe day with visits to three handpicked bridal salons, lunch in the Tea Room at the Brown Place Hotel, luxury limo service and a personal photographer to capture it all. Make selecting your dress a truly memorable experience you’ll never forget.

Photography Styling: for published editorial features, print, television advertising campaigns, film and theater.

Bridal Fashion Show Styling: pick the gowns, edit the looks, ensure the hair, makeup, and models are on target. A great stylist will collaborate with a designer to create a cohesive vision that excites the show attendees and stands out as innovative.

‘In my years working bridal shows, planning events and consulting in bridal boutiques I have heard countless stories of women driving from shop to shop, frustrated with not finding the gown of their dreams.  It is clear that brides need professional guidance, and I feel so strongly to be able to show them there’s so much more to consider than the price tag,” stated Maureen. Maureen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing & Management from the Illinois Institute of Art at Chicago.
