Frequently Asked Questions about StudioWed 

Do I need to use all the vendors? No, not at all. You are welcome to use as many (or as few) StudioWed vendors as you’d like for your wedding. We are here to help with exactly what you need.  There is never any pressure or sales tactics at StudioWed.

Is there a catch?  Not at all.  StudioWed has 35-40 of the best wedding vendors in Colorado.  Our vendors are hand selected by reputable wedding planners to be paying members of StudioWed. Our vendors use the studio as meeting space, for networking and as a resource for their clients.   StudioWed is completely complimentary for brides and grooms without any catch!

Can I contact vendors myself?  Yes, you are welcome to contact StudioWed vendors directly.   We are also happy to check vendor availability, confirm pricing and schedule consultations for you at no cost.

Do you do what wedding planner does?  Our studio manager does a few tasks that wedding planners do such as checking vendor availability, recommending vendors who fit your style and budget and scheduling consultations with our professionals. A professional wedding planner will do those tasks and SO much more.  A professional wedding planner will attend vendor meetings with you, keep track of your budget, design your wedding, assist with the overall style, keep you on track with the planning process and be with you on the wedding weekend to coordinate your celebration. We have three professional wedding planning companies at StudioWed Denver and would be happy to schedule a consultation for you if you need more assistance than what the studio can do for you.

How are the vendors chosen?  Our wedding vendors are chosen based on their reputation, time in the wedding industry and experience with weddings. Our wedding planners at StudioWed also recommend and choose the vendors based on their experience of working with wedding professionals over the past five years.

What if I need something the studio doesn’t offer?  We have resources for almost everything you could possibly need for your Colorado wedding. If you don’t see it listed on our exclusive vendor page, just ask and we will help you find a resource.

Can you help me find a venue? Yes, we would love to meet with you and talk about our venue partners and what they have to offer.  We will take time to learn about your style, guest count and budget then recommend venues based on our knowledge and database of Colorado wedding venues.

Will you match me with vendors who fit my budget and style?  Yes, this is our specialty.  We have a range of fantastic wedding professionals in every category so that we can match you with the vendors who fit your personality and style.

Can I just stop by and look through the vendor options? Yes! Please feel free to stop by during our open hours (Tuesday/Thursday from noon-5pm and Saturday from 10-4pm).  The studio is also available every day by appointment.

How does StudioWed differ from other wedding studios and resources?  StudioWed has four locations across the United States.  Each StudioWed is locally owned and managed by a reputable wedding planning company.  Having an experienced wedding planner choosing the vendors and working with brides is a huge key to our success.  We know the industry and have worked with hundreds of vendor professionals in Colorado before we opened StudioWed as a resource for Colorado brides and grooms.

Do the vendors work only in Denver or can they help with my mountain wedding? All of our wedding professionals work in Denver and throughout the entire state of Colorado.  Most of our vendors love to travel for mountain weddings.

 Katherine and Frank’s wedding at The Ritz Carlton, Denver was orchestrated beautifully by Angie Johnston with Sapphire Celebrations. The ceremony was sweet and romantic with a surprise, “Love Actually”, ending for Frank. Katherine had a gospel choir sing “All You Need is Love” during the recessional, bringing the life-long Beatles fan to tears. Their afternoon ceremony was followed by a total throw-down of a reception. It was like you see in the movies- parties never seem as fun as they are in movies – this one was!  Their band, Funkiphino, was on fire (if you haven’t heard of these guys, you need to check them out) and the party was awesome. The live music filled the ballroom with an energy that was hard to resist.
