Weekly Ticket Give Away Details

Every Saturday for the next SIX weeks,  we are giving away a PAIR of complimentary tickets to our Luxury Bridal Design Showcase on Sunday, February 27th at the Ritz Carlton.   Every week, all brides and grooms who schedule an initial consultation with one of our vendors is entered into the drawing.    If you schedule meetings with 3 different vendors, you will receive 3 entries that week.  We will randomly choose an entry every Saturday afternoon and announce the winner that day on Twitter and on Facebook.  All brides and grooms are eligible to win tickets.  If you schedule a consultation directly with a vendor instead of through the studio, just send an email to denver@studiowed.net with your full name, email address, wedding date and the vendor(s) you are meeting with.  This will ensure you are entered in our weekly drawing.

This couple wanted their laid back mountain lifestyle to be center stage on their Colorado wedding day.  The theme starts with their invitation suite; a rustic chipboard with lacy detail is prevalent through the suite, the RSVP cards are all vintage postcards from all the places they have traveled together.  They incorporated a lot of vintage items, as well as a blue, green and yellow color palette that mimics the beautiful scenery into their ceremony and reception.  A rustic sign directs guests to the ceremony space where hay bales covered in handmade quilts beckon to be sat on.  The bride will wear a short, classic and casual dress and her groom will sport a gray vest with a tie, their beloved Lab will act as best man and dons his own wedding day garland.  After the sweet ceremony, guests will be welcomed by a soda bar, featuring an array of old time vintage style sodas.  In lieu of a guest book, everyone is invited to write notes to the bride and groom on their 1970’s typewriter.  After dinner, guests can dance the night away under sting lights and the beautiful Colorado night skies.

BIG congratulations to the couples who just got engaged! Here are your top to-do’s (after you call every person you know to spread the good news):

1. Decide on the date or month of your wedding – If you are set on a particular date and it is a Saturday in May-September, you will have a more difficult time finding the perfect venue that isn’t already booked. If you have some flexibility with the date, you will have more options available to you.

2.  Budget – If you will be working within a certain budget, determine the overall estimate before looking at venues and booking vendors.

3.  Schedule an appointment at StudioWed to help get you started in the right direction. We have extensive knowledge of  wedding venues and vendors across the state to get your planning process started.  “Why “Why not bring in the New Year with a bang?” thought this bride and groom.  Always the couple who goes over the top, a December 31st Colorado wedding was just the right fit.  It all started with the royal peacock stilettos, the couple chose deep jewel tones of purple, royal blue, emerald green and gold to pull together a winter wedding.  To set the tone of the wedding, the bride and groom chose a classic wedding invitation with rich blues and elegant script.  The venue has a swanky vibe with crystal chandeliers and walls splashed with purple and lounge seating to accommodate guests who have danced until they couldn’t dance anymore!  The bride will be able to show off her fabulous shoes with a striking short dress with “feathers” to match!  The bridesmaids are decked out in shantung silk dress & a playful bow with peacock feather bouquets and headbands to complete the look.  Not to be outdone, the groom with sport a silk tie with a silk screened peacock feather.
