We are so excited to welcome Locker Partners to our family! They are one of our new cinematographers here at StudioWed. We are in love with their fun personalities! They describe themselves below, in 5 quick statements.
– We have a sense of humor. Our true “start” in video production was creating music videos, but before we worked with local musicians we made a handful of comedic short videos (including two “advice column” series) using friends as actors and dressing Mary Grace in silly getups.
– We do all our own stunts. When you hire LockerPartners to film your big day, expect Emily or Mary Grace to lead the charge and 99.99% of the time both of us will be present wielding the cameras.
– We’ve got stealth. Sure, you’re a fascinating couple, but most couples aren’t accustomed to the paparazzi. We’ve been referred to as “video ninjas” for our unobtrusive style of filming (and, also maybe, our all black attire). The best way to get that candid moment is to make them believe you’re not even there.
– Video is our art, not our job. Our backgrounds are in studio art and theater which influences the way we see the world and approach it with our cameras. We view each wedding video we create as not just a keepsake for the celebrating families but as a work of art (turtlenecks not required).
– We’re huge documentary fans. Real life is a whole lot stranger and much more fantastic than anything one could make up. And that is our favorite part of capturing weddings – it’s a once in a lifetime event and there are a lot of moments that we know you’ll want to remember – even the strange and fantastic ones.
