Today’s couples want their weddings to be unique, special, memorable, and most of all – FUN.  Try doing something unique to you and your fiancé. Think of creating a menu based on things that are meaningful to you –  where you first met, where he proposed, your first vacation together, etc. This is your time to be creative!  

To give you some ideas we have included the fabulous menu created by Footers Catering Owners, April and Anthony Lambatos from their very own wedding this past April.  

There were 9 different action food stations that allowed them to create a journey though their relationship for their guests. There was everything from a Florida Keys Beach Station (where the bride grew up) with live fish in a moat, to a Colorado Ski Station (where the groom was born and raised) made with real skis and snowboards. And of course, you can’t forget about the Nacho Cheese Fountain and Fire Pad Thai Station. Footers Catering has a full time architect, Sam Totten, on the team that builds and creates custom displays for all types of events.  Check out their blog for full menu ideas on creating a unique and personal event.

Amanda and Jeremy elected to do their engagement photos near their house at Stanley Lake in Arvada. With the open scenery and beautiful trails it was easy for them to find the perfect locations to take pictures.  Amanda and Jeremy will be getting married in August at Mile High Station.

This extremely fun, happy couple was a pleasure to work with.  Their laughter and smiles yielded some amazing shots.  They created some really fun shots, including Chris from Premium Digital Solutions favorite, running through the open grass hand-in-hand under the evening sun light.  They had gorgeous Colorado blues skies at two wonderful Denver area locations.  Their ceremony was held at the unique Our Lady of Lorreto Chapel and the reception was held at the beautiful wedding venue Hudson Gardens under the Garden Canopy.  The wedding was captured in full HD on a Sony HDR-FX1 and a Canon 7D.  Canon lenses used were: 10-22MM, 28MM, 50MM, and 100MM Macro.

The natural light through the stain glass windows yielded some interesting shots.  In particular, Emily and her bridesmaids readied themselves in a room off the south halls of the chapel.  Their room was well lit by ambient natural light through the large windows and high ceilings.  Once everyone was dressed and ready, they walked around the grounds capturing several shots leveraging the interesting architecture and well kept foliage as backgrounds.

When Premium Digital Solutions  first arrived, they captured a couple actions shots of the wedding party in front of the Inn, and then headed over to the reception location to capture some of the details before the reception began.  The reception was a hit, with delicious food by Occasions by Sandy, great music and hosting from DJ Jeremy by A Music Plus.
