StudioWed Asheville is excited to introduce our newest StudioWed Asheville wedding vendor…. Julie Schantz from Asheville Henna! Personally, I love having henna done, and it is a fun popular trend that we are seeing these days at all types of weddings.  Which is just one of the many reasons for why we are so excited to have Julie join the studio.  For more information about Asheville Henna click here! That being said, as we do with all our StudioWed Asheville vendors, we sent her a fun questionnaire for her to fill out to help us get to know her a little bit better.

A fun fact about you?

I have been vegan for 18 years and vegetarian 12 years before that, but i LOVE the smell of bacon (tho i have no desire to eat it).

What are three items you can’t live without?

food, water, music

If you were a crayon what color would you be?

Black (only because most of my clothes are black)

What would be your dream concert to attend?

Current : Arcade fire in an intimate setting, with only 25 of my friends.

Past : The Beatles

If you could invite three famous people to have dinner with you, who would it be?

Living : Steven Colbert, Tina Fey, Bryan Cranston

Dead : Vincent Van Gogh, John Lennon, and Robin Williams

Photography and videography are probably going to be the only two things you are going to be able to look back on from your wedding in 30 years.  Which is why photography is usually so important to our StudioWed couples.  However, you should also think about videography!  Having a video of your wedding day can be so much fun, and we highly recommend using Signature Wedding Films.  From music choice to editing they really go all out.  They can also travel so make sure to email them and see if they can make it your beautiful mountain wedding!

With the holidays approaching… This only means to pull out your tacky sweaters, get ready to go holiday gift shopping, and start sharing a glass of your favorite holiday cocktail with your best friend! Who can complain about any of this.  This also means the StudioWed Asheville holiday party is quickly approaching as well.  Where we get to share a drink with some of our favorite Asheville wedding vendors!

Speaking of parties and cheersing… Asheville Beverages supplies delicious alcohol and beverages to any party and wedding needed! We love them and they do a  great job at staying in the know with cocktail trends.  All that being said here is a delicious holiday cocktail to help get you in the mood! Cheers!

Tiffany’s Baking Co. team always creates the most beautiful cakes for our StudioWed Asheville couples.  From elegant to hilarious cakes, they never fail to amaze me.  To prove it to you, I pulled some pictures from their Facebook page to show you just a few of Tiffany’s Baking Co. stunning cakes..
