All that being said we reached out to the Colorful Palate team and ask them to share some of their delicious recipes with us! On the blog today is Colorful Palate’s recipe for herb marinated cheese. I mean who doesn’t love cheese!
Herb Marinated Cheese
2 lbs. Cheese (cheddar, havarti)
1/2 cup White Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup Lime Juice or Lemon Juice
1 bunch Parsley
1 bunch Cilantro or any other favorite herb
1 bunch Green Onion, chopped
1 Roasted Red Pepper, peeled and julienned
1 tsp. Sugar Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Combine vinegar, lime juice, parsley, cilantro, green onion, red pepper, sugar, salt and pepper. Slowly add oil and whisk until combined. Pour mixture over cheese and marinate for at least 2 hours. The longer the cheese marinates the better it tastes! You can prepare this up to 2 days in advance. Serve with crackers or bread.
