When we found out Kathleen from Asheville Wedding Dance Company, I Do Dances was going to be teaching the famous last seen from Dirty Dancing…we just HAD to share!  Can you imagine what a great first dance {or even last dance} this would be at your wedding!!  I think my hubs and I are going to take the class, just because it is going to be fun!  I have taken from Kathleen before, and she is an amazing teacher.  See below for more details on the class from Kathleen:

My dance partner, Daniel, and I will be teaching the Dirty Dancing routine to “Time of My Life” from the oh-so-famous (local) movie! I’ve gotten many requests to teach this dance for a long while and now is the time to unleash it! And now is the time to unleash your Dirty Dancing desire! This is a super hot, sexy, playful, fun, easy to break down dance that is pretty irresistible.

If you need a refresher of why this could be…one of the most fun dances to learn, take a looksy.  Don’t worry if you don’t have dance experience!  Daniel and I will provide many different modifications that will make the dance accessible to all levels.

This will be an eight week course, starting Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:30 P.M., running through December 28th, skipping November 23rd for Thanksgiving.  Get your honey, or a friend you don’t mind dancing close to, and sign up! I need six couples to make this class happen and no more then 9 couples. The cost of the 8 week series is $144 per couple, that’s just $9/class/person.

We strive to provide an unintimidating atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable trying something new and have fun doing it! I would love for you to join me!
