I am sure you have heard over and over again how we have a love hate relationship with Pinterest.

Why don’t we like it? I can not tell you how many brides we have seen walk into StudioWed Asheville and say I want this… and only this.  When you do that you immediately stop the wedding professional for being creative and doing what they do best.  Also, have you ever thought that maybe what you want won’t suite your wedding. Make your wedding your own.

Why we love it? It is fun! Also, it is still great for inspiration.  It helps us get a feel for who you are and your style.  We do use Pinterest all the time in the wedding industry.  Just be careful how much you use it.

StudioWed Asheville is filled with some of the best Asheville wedding vendors in the area.  So trust them!

Relationship tips to keep your marriage humming!

Sleep on it.

A common piece of advice that you may have heard is don’t go to bed angry. While it’s usually a good idea to confront problems head-on, sometimes we need a little time to process. Research conducted at the University of California, San Diego, found that people often solve ongoing problems during REM. “When people sleep, the brain reshuffles memories, combining old associations and new ideas to come up with solutions,” says study author Sara Mednick, Ph.D.

So sleeping on our problems may sometimes be more productive than trying to hash things out right before bed when we’re tired. Just make sure that you don’t use this as an excuse to completely avoid problems.

Event lighting can seem excessive when planning your wedding.  You might be overwhelmed with the cost of everything, and when it comes to event lighting you think… Do I really need this?  Trust me when I say this… Lighting can really bring a room together.  Your venue will go from pretty to amazing really fast with event lighting.  I have seen numerous times this work, at one of Asheville venues.  It is the cherry on top!  Don’t believe me? Chandeliers always make an amazing statement.

In april StudioWed and Wedding Paper Divas partnered together to host an amazing industry party located at StudioWed Denver.  The wedding professionals got together to work with one of our favorite wedding stationery companies, Wedding Paper Divas, to create a fun night for the industry. From goodie bags, to charcuterie walls, they really went all out for this beautifully done event.

Of course there was amazing design.
