If you have read about the StudioWed culture before, then you know how important it is to us.  We are strong believers here at StudioWed Asheville, that the way for us to be the best is to work together and grow from one another.  In the wedding industry if we don’t support each other how are we suppose to grow and be the best.  Here is a list 10 ways that our culture makes us better.

Tell your partner what you want rather than what you don’t want.

Instead of saying, “I don’t want you to go out with your friends every weekend,” try saying, “I would love for us to spend more quality time on the weekends.” Since this is a less critical approach, your partner will feel less defensive and more willing to accommodate your needs. The key is to focus on the present, rather than the past. Forget about what your partner didn’t do last week or last year, and concentrate on what you want from your partner in the present moment.

Pinterest is a great source for getting creative with when you are planning you Asheville NC wedding.  However, use it for inspiration only.  Try not to say “I want this”.  Your wedding is your own, so make it your own.
