I can’t say enough great things about Beth Hohensee! From the very first moment I met her, I fell in love with her bright, energetic, hard-working vibe! Even without photographs, I knew she understood what I
wanted just from telling her a few details. On our second meeting, I did show her my many photographs. I was amazed at how attentive she was to each and every aspect of what my preferences were. Beth was also extremely helpful in narrowing down and pin pointing what I truly wanted on my wedding day. Her knowledge of flowers and the floral industry is quite vast as I never named a flower she couldn’t recall nor a suggestion she couldn’t handle. I saw Beth even reach beyond her role as florist, she often stepped in to vouch for my requests with the site vendor. Because she works so often and successfully in the Asheville area, I felt my other vendors were responsive to her where they might have been less flexible with other florists. I also saw a professionalism and attentiveness in Beth that I did not see in other interviewed florists. I.e. She wrote up several contracts for us in full detail (listed every type of flower, etc.) while the contracts of other companies were nearly void of detail and thus hard to truly judge what they would end up providing and if it would be in sync with my tastes and preferences. Beth’s contracts, were in short a guarantee that she and I were on the same page. Throughout the entire event, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the various floral arrangements that Beth set up. The arrangements exceeded what I had imagined, from the entry way and aisle to alter and centerpieces. She made the venue beautiful beyond words with her extreme creativity. Again, everything was just what I wanted and more. I highly recommend Beth Hohensee with Studio Flora Diva!!

We at Mozingo Photography love destination weddings!  Many people travel to the Asheville area to have their destination weddings here in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. Although we love where we live to be sure, every once in a while it is nice to get to escape to capture a tropical wedding.

So we had the amazing opportunity to escape the cold and snow of an Asheville January to travel to Los Barriles, Mexico! Steelie Pope and Sam Runion had a beautiful beach wedding at Hotel Palmas De Cortez.  What a blessing to get to share in their amazing wedding in such a beautiful place!

The couple are high school sweet hearts and their love for each other is very unique and it shows! We loved how laid back Steelie and Sam were and how they just welcomed us in to their group of friends and family.  We have some amazing memories, and tons of photographs!
