It is throwback Thursday up on the blog today!  This wedding took place at The Omni Grove Park hotel and was shot by the wonderful Sunday Grant!  This wedding took place in October and although it rained all day, it didn’t stop the couple from having a great time!   From the looks of their pictures, you wouldn’t even be able to tell that it had been raining all day! Hiring a team that you trust is so important.  Come rain or shine, they will make sure your wedding runs seamlessly!

Each StudioWed Asheville vendor had a part in making this wedding come together!  With the Verge Events team on the planning side, and Studio Flora Diva making the space beautiful with her floral touches, they truly do always make a great team! Asheville Marriages officiated this gorgeous couples ceremony, and they truly do look so incredibly happy! Sunday Grant made sure to not miss a shot that perfectly sums up this StudioWed Asheville’s couples joyous wedding!

What is the tradition behind brides having henna done on their wedding day?  Tradition says that as long as the henna stain appears on the bride she doesn’t have to do housework.  Nowadays it is truly just gorgeous and makes a bride stand out that much more!  Asheville is so lucky to have a local artist who creates the most beautiful Henna designs… Asheville Henna!

Asheville Henna also recently stated in a Facebook post that “Henna can be very healing for people. Just the act of touching, focused time and attention, sitting quietly and being still, doing something nice for yourself, having an ear to talk to, and receiving symbols of hope and life, can change a person’s outlook.”
