Welcome bags are a great way to not only say “thank you for coming”, but are a perfect way to get everyone excited for your big day! There are so many ways that you can spruce up your welcome bag.

1) Think about styling the bag around your wedding theme.  Dress up the box it comes in or even get a personalized tote bag made for your guest to keep!

2) If your having a destination wedding, your welcome bag is great way to introduce your location.  For example, if you were getting married in Asheville you could include something local from the many breweries in the area.  Remember that your guests will need to be able to travel with what you put the items in.  So be mindful  and use something that can be packed in a suitcase.

3) Use your resources! Try reaching out to your wedding vendors.  You could include a fun treat, like a pie pop, in your bag from your caterer, or contact your local Chamber for brochures about your wedding location.

4) Don’t forget about essentials.  Your guest will really appreciate a bottle of water or even an apple.   Something simple like that will keep you guest hydrated and happy!
