Photo booths are a great way to have some fun at your wedding, make some memories, and provide an extra keepsake for your guests to take home.  Yes, they are extremely popular right now, and many of our Asheville weddings love a good photo booth… so why not make your booth a little bit different and a little more personalized?!

Props are a big component of a photo booth.  There are so many props out there, so have some fun with it!  You can create a theme behind your photo booth, or make the photo booth your wedding colors.  Have a fun background, add some sparkles to it…  There are so many fun ways to make your photo booth your own, and either way your guests will always love it!

Welcome bags are a great way to not only say “thank you for coming”, but are a perfect way to get everyone excited for your big day! There are so many ways that you can spruce up your welcome bag.

1) Think about styling the bag around your wedding theme.  Dress up the box it comes in or even get a personalized tote bag made for your guest to keep!

2) If your having a destination wedding, your welcome bag is great way to introduce your location.  For example, if you were getting married in Asheville you could include something local from the many breweries in the area.  Remember that your guests will need to be able to travel with what you put the items in.  So be mindful  and use something that can be packed in a suitcase.

3) Use your resources! Try reaching out to your wedding vendors.  You could include a fun treat, like a pie pop, in your bag from your caterer, or contact your local Chamber for brochures about your wedding location.

4) Don’t forget about essentials.  Your guest will really appreciate a bottle of water or even an apple.   Something simple like that will keep you guest hydrated and happy!

 This part should be fun!  Plan in advance and get to packing your warm welcomes!

We love pretty weddings, that’s a given. Wedding flowers are typically what most people use to create a beautiful wedding but there are other ways to add beauty to your wedding. We LOVE our flowers so it’s important what you put your flowers on. Your linens are just as important as the flowers because they can elevate your design to the next level. The linens are the frame to showcase the floral painting. Linens shouldn’t be used to compete with any other element but to complement, whether it a color, texture or pattern. Our advice for choosing your linens is to put your high impact linens in places that will make a big impact but not overpower. We love to put the really fun linens on high cocktail tables where they will be seen but there won’t be too many of them. Remember when choosing linens for your dinner tables to keep in mind the texture to make sure glasses and plates will sit right. You don’t want your wine glass to topple over! Wedding linens have come along way over the years and you have so many options now to create the perfect look that you don’t always have to choose the black, white or ivory default. From sequins to stripes to ruffles, wedding linens are a great way to take your wedding design to the next level.

When we saw the hot pink + navy color palette, we were in love! How fun are navy + white stripes with pops of pink peonies! The nod to the nautical inspiration is something we don’t see much here in the mountains, but who says you can’t bring the sea to the mountains? There so many awesome ways to incorporate the nautical theme without being too over the top. Subtle is key with this theme. Check out our inspiration below!
