2014’s color of the year was just announced by Pantone to be Radiant Orchid, a rich blend of purple, pink and fushia.

Pantone describes the 2014 color of the year as “Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. Fun add-ins like chocolate dipped candy canes, flavored marshmallows, whipped cream in cute shapes and specialty syrups make your guests feel like getting in the spirit.

And don’t forget for guests 21 and over to add a yummy shot of Bailey’s or Kahlua  to bring your hot chocolate to the next level.
