Pantone released the 2013 color of the year and we are very excited to see how this vibrant color is incorporated into the wedding world. Emerald, Pantone Color 17-5641, is a deep, rich and luscious hue that is a bold statement and perfect as the main color or an accent of an event. Here are some of our favorite emerald pictures!

In the dreary winter months it’s essential to have a pick me up and here at StudioWed Asheville our current obsession is glittery gold linens. How much fun is glitter?! Halloween is such a fun time of year from the decorations to the creative costumes and of course the plentiful candy. After seeing this great inspiration color palette, I wanted to create a Halloween inspired, not dominated, fete. Of course being a Chi Omega I loved the owl (one of our mascots) and incorporated a subtle owl feathered cake. Bringing in pumpkins dressed in unique ways and black lanterns lends to the Halloween theme. Have a happy and safe Halloween!
