Colorful Palate is truly loved by so many of our StudioWed Asheville brides.  They are truly one of the best wedding caterers located in Asheville NC.  From there AMAZING pimento cheese, to delicious sliders, to fresh raw oyster, Colorful Palate will help you create the best menu that you could possible dream of for you wedding.  Another thing that they are known for is creating a beautiful spread.  Instead of just placing the food down on a table they go all out.  From different levels, to taking into consideration of your decor, this is an extra bonus that they will do for you!

All that being said we reached out to the Colorful Palate team and ask them to share some of their delicious recipes with us! On the blog today is Colorful Palate’s recipe for herb marinated cheese.  I mean who doesn’t love cheese!

Herb Marinated Cheese

2 lbs. Cheese (cheddar, havarti)
1/2 cup White Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup Lime Juice or Lemon Juice
1 bunch Parsley
1 bunch Cilantro or any other favorite herb
1 bunch Green Onion, chopped
1 Roasted Red Pepper, peeled and julienned
1 tsp. Sugar Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Combine vinegar, lime juice, parsley, cilantro, green onion, red pepper, sugar, salt and pepper. Slowly add oil and whisk until combined. Pour mixture over cheese and marinate for at least 2 hours. The longer the cheese marinates the better it tastes! You can prepare this up to 2 days in advance. Serve with crackers or bread.

One of the many cool things about having your wedding in Asheville NC, is the different styles of venues and decor that you can have access to.  If you are the rustic barn wedding type Lake Eden is the perfect spot for you or maybe you.  Maybe you want that glamorous ballroom feel, which then the Grand Bohemian is the wedding venue for you! From mountain views to downtown Asheville you can really have you pick of mostly anything when having your wedding in Asheville NC.

That being said this wedding that is featured on the StudioWed Asheville blog today is, according to Borrowed and Blue, “industrial chic romance”.  The Arboretum in Asheville is always a favorite venue location for StudioWed Asheville couples. This wedding had a green earthy feel mixed in with some pops of grey.  Which made the coolest contrast between the two!  Check out the pictures below to see for yourself!

It is throwback Thursday on the blog today! Todays Asheville wedding took place in the spring time at Homewood, located less then a mile from downtown Asheville NC.  The beautiful couple used both the indoor and outdoor venue space that Homewood has to offer.  Which is truly a plus with this venue. It comes with a plan B rain plan!  This wedding was classically beautiful done with floral touches by Flora Asheville.  It sure is hard to make this venue look bad, and Flora only helped make it that much prettier.

The Verge Events ladies were behind the flawless execution of this Asheville NC wedding, and leave it to Blush Asheville to beautify the bride for this beautiful wedding.  The bride also got ready in the Blush lounge located at StudioWed Asheville.
