If you ask any of our wedding planners they will be happy to tell you about how linens can make a wedding go from beautiful to stunning.  However, the idea of spending good money on linens always takes people back a bit.  What they don’t understand is how BIG of a difference it can make.  How many times have you attended a wedding with plain white linens that don’t touch the floor?  I promise you the day you attend a wedding with beautiful bright patterned linens that touch the floor you will see how much of a difference this can make.  To prove my point check out these two pictures below from StudioWeed Asheville weddings where we used Nuage Linens!

Today on the blog we are going to throw it back to a gorgeous wedding that took place at Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Asheville NC.  This beautiful summer time wedding, was filled with vibrant bright colors and lots of fun!  The venue has a ton of history and is still a working farm today.  (Always a favorite of ours to pick our CSA baskets up at!)  The wedding was so chic and didn’t give you the rustic farm vibe at all.  However, Hickory Nut Gap Farm sure knows how to throw a rustic farm wedding as well!  The guest danced the night away and the wedding surprisingly ended with a fantastic firework show!

If you haven’t heard already Asheville NC is known for its breweries.  Many say we are the number one town in USA for breweries and beer drinking.  From big breweries like Highland Brewery, to small boutique ones like Burial Beer. we have all types of varieties.  Trust me they are all good! That being said, if the crowd attending your wedding are the beer drinking crowd, then take advantage of this!  Some great options on how you can incorporate these breweries into your Asheville wedding is by having your rehearsal dinner at one, suggest it as a fun activity for your guest to enjoy, or maybe even just include a bottle of your favorite brew in their welcome bag.  The options are endless!  Our friends over at Asheville Beverage, can for sure help you out with outsourcing beer for your wedding, or even get a keg from one of these awesome breweries.  They know whats up, and are always happy to help you with all your alcohol options for your Asheville NC wedding.  Cheers!

I love following our Asheville wedding beauty experts on social media to see the latest trends in wedding hair.  It is constantly changing.  From curls, to up-dos, to half and half, it is always fun to see the different styles.  One tip I have learnt from Asheville Hair and Hughes Hair Design, is when you attend your trial bring some sample pictures of what you want.  However, don’t bring a hair style and just say “I want that”… Why? Well maybe your hair isn’t the right type for that.  Maybe your hair is too think or too thick to rock a certain style.  That being said this is why they are wedding experts!  We trust them, and you should to! They will be able to create something beautiful and fitting just for you.
