While planning your Asheville wedding, regardless of whether you’re a local, or whether you’re planning a destination event,  there’s a big chance that you are going to need a hotel. There are SO many Asheville hotels for you to choose from…we thought we’d help your search by sharing one of our favorites with you. Aloft Asheville Downtown is not just a lovely venue for both ceremonies and receptions, it is also an awesome space for your guests. It’s located in the heart of downtown, walking distance from some wonderful local eats (and drinks!), and the atmosphere is perfect for those who love the urban side of Asheville.

And don’t worry… your guests will still have a stunning view of our mountains!

#2. Local art supporters PLUS pet friendly!

We love decorating with Asheville’s local art (especially when it involves pets), such as this @angelaalexanderart piece. Also, we are a pet-friendly hotel. We have a no pet fee policy, and our Arf program includes a dog bed, water bowl, toy, and treat!

#3 Live music every weekend!

Live music? Check! Live at Aloft Hotels happens every night on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We’ll see you at all three this week! We love the local music scene in Asheville, and it’s one of our five favorite things about this beautiful place.

We love this blog post by Asheville wedding planner, Events by Kiersa, detailing just a few reasons that Asheville is one of the best places EVER for a destination wedding! I mean… seriously guys, have you been to Asheville? It’s beautiful here! We have gorgeous mountains, amazing wedding venues, and fantastic local foodie (and drinkie ;) ) places for your guests to visit when they are not attending to wedding business.

We loved this little peak into the lovely spring blossoms that are currently hanging out with our friends at Flora Boutique. Flora is a fantastic Asheville wedding florist who, according to their gorgeous website, specializes in wedding and event styling, floral design, and consulting. They love the opportunity to make any event stylish and unique with their botanical whimsy. Such a perfect description of the beautiful work that Flora does!
