Beth Hohensee of Studio Flora Diva truly creates magic with flowers for weddings and events all over the country. Her out-of-the-box creativity, passion for design and captivating personality allows her to take a vague concept and  transform an event. Beth is an AIFD accredited member and strives to create cutting edge floral and design for her clients. This Asheville wedding florist truly embodies the art of floristry!

Wondering what Beth’s favorite part of a wedding is? She has two: “The first: being surrounded by all the flowers after they’ve been un- boxed and placed in water. It’s a joy and a delight to be able to be surrounded by such abundant beauty! The second: manifestation/the act of creation. To transform a client’s intangible idea and concept into real, touchable, fragrant, pieces of floral art never ceases to thrill and amaze me.”

One thing that I have learned with interning for StudioWed, is that if you have an awesome florist they will 100% make sure that your flowers will be perfect on your wedding day.

For example, Nicole and I made a trip to the florist to check out the flowers for a wedding that is coming up.  However, the flowers that came weren’t the ones that the florist ordered.  The color wasn’t the right shade that the bride wanted.  Immediately, the florist went into rescue mode.  She told me that you CANNOT get fresh flowers on a Monday.  So, she came up with a solution, and then the flowers would look just like the bride wanted!

I know flowers can be very expensive when it comes to your wedding, but spending the money on it is completely worth it.  You are not just paying for the flowers.  You are paying for the experience and the talent of a true wedding professional.  Our Asheville wedding florists that are part of our collective, Blossoms at Biltmore Park and Studio Flora Diva, will do anything and everything to make sure you get exactly what you want on your wedding day.  Trust me it is worth it!

Husband and wife dynamic duo, Michael and Meriah Mozingo, certainly do just this when it comes to their clients.  They really do what they say above – they like to get to know their clients, and always are looking out in their best interest.  And they capture the story oh so well!  From weddings, to engagements, and the Rock the Frock sessions…their passion shows through each and every image.

And their favorite part of a wedding?  “… the look on the bride’s face when the officiant announces to the crowd “I now pronounce to you Mr and Mrs….” It is always priceless and so full of joy!”
