Ellie Schwarz began her career with EastCoast Entertainment in November of 2007.  Her vision was for EastCoast Entertainment to open an office in Asheville, NC so that the company could better serve the area.  She commuted back and forth to Charlotte, NC weekly, for an entire year, in order to train and learn the business of booking entertainment under several of the owners and partners of the company.  In November of 2008 Ellie opened the EastCoast Entertainment branch in Asheville and has enjoyed working with our incredible industry partners in the region ever since.

Ellie feels incredibly blessed to have found a career that allows for her to combine her love for music (she actively attends live events and also plays the violin) and her desire to ensure that couples are able to experience the energy and wonderment of attending an event that includes live music.  She is proud to work for the nation’s oldest and largest entertainment agency of its kind, representing only the best of professional event entertainers in the nation.

Ellie has all sorts of advice with regards to booking entertainment for weddings.  She encourages her clients to book their entertainers at least a year in advance so that they can ensure that they reserve their favorite group…each band is unique and therefore it is a very personal decision.  She also recommends speaking over the phone before researching options so that clients don’t fall in love with bands that aren’t available on their date.  Ellie can send ideas based on availability, stylistic criteria, size and budget.  She will walk you through all of the details with regards to the booking process, the organization leading up to your event and what to expect on the day of.

Asheville wedding planning boutique vendors in action!  This is from a wedding this past December of Ashley and Kenneth, that utilized all of StudioWed’s vendors!  She came to StudioWed just about 6 months before the wedding, and enlisted many of our Asheville wedding pros for her wedding team.  Stay tuned for a full post on their wedding!
