I seriously love this New Arrival holiday cocktail dress from J. Crew. This “jewel-trimmed Jade dress” is the most beautiful color of emerald green and features a jeweled hem with sequins, beads, rhinestones, and more. I would pair this with a skinny black belt ( I prefer to add more of a waist to loose dresses) and hit every holiday party I could.

This is one of my favorite dresses I’ve seen in a while, and it comes from the very talented Johnna Ho. I love dresses with an unexpected twist, and the dye cut circles on the bottom of the dress give it that interesting detail. I also like that the sheath is cinched at the natural waist to create more shape.

My first fashion love? Lace. My grandmother was a seamstress, and she always had beautiful lace that I would drape practically everything in–me, random furniture, the dog–whatever I could get my hands on. That’s exactly what this beautiful “Carson” dress by Modern Trousseau reminds me of. I love the sweetheart neckline, the slight mermaid silhouette, and beige silk sash.
