Ok, so we’ve been teasing for months with the rumor of a new, bigger, swankier studio space. Well, the day has finally arrived! We may be covered in concrete dust and stray packing tape, BUT, StudioWed is officially in Suite 216!
We’ve highlighted some pretty cool wedding spots over the last few days, hopefully one or two that’s inspired you to say “I do.” Today is no different, except rather than highlight the beautiful seasonal spread our native vegetation (and pro-landscapers) offers us, we’re taking a trip back in time to (re) introduce you to this city’s rich history.
The Atlanta History Center, nestled deep within the grandiose beauty of West Paces Ferry Road provides blushing brides with a historical backdrop for the ceremony (and reception) of her dreams. It’s a classic Southern-style wedding with the skyline as your altar, and the rich stories of Atlantans past as your foundation. From a large blank canvas ballroom in the museum to the rolling stone staircase of The Swan House, this is one Buckhead nuptial nook worth taking a closer look at.
We’ve got your up-close-and-personal look next weekend! Join StudioWed on the Southern Charms Venue Tour, Sunday, April 1st from 10-5pm. We’ll travel to the city’s coolest indoor and outdoor, garden-inspired venues for some serious ceremony idea-making. There are only a few spots left, so grab your groom and reserve your seat on the ride today!
Something borrowed, something blue… can’t anyone tell us something new?!
Mr. Scoobie West to the rescue, with the 3 MUST-KNOW makeup tips for every bride.
ONE
Always use a foundation primer… not only does it help to smooth things out, but it also helps keep the makeup on all night!
TWO
Always apply foundation under your chin, all the way down to your neck. Necks are often lighter than your face and décolletage and you . Once you apply foundation, set with powder, then dust with bronzer.
THREE
Lashes are a must! A natural set of lashes will make the eyes look bigger and more dramatic.
