Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Today we’re getting the inside scoop from FoglioPress on the wedding stationary trend of the year – Marbled Papers

“At Foglio Press, we love sourcing unique, artisan-made papers to give our clients’ wedding stationery unique personality and life. Handmade Marbled Papers are one of our favorite ways to add color and visual interest to a classic invitation suite. They are available in a huge range of colors, styles and patterns, and because they are made by hand, each invitation your guests receive will be a unique piece of art that is unlike the others! Here are some of our favorite ways to incorporate marbled papers into a stationery suite:

Envelope Liners

The perfect place for a pop of color and unique pattern. Go bold, or keep the look more subtle for a classic feel.

Belly Bands

Put your lovely feature paper front and center with a band wrapped around your invitation suite, keeping all the details in place. Layer with ribbon, a fun tag, or a wax seal for texture and dimension.

Background Layers

If you can’t get enough of these amazing papers, use them boldly as a background layer like we did with these place cards to add an artful feel to the entire card.

We’re always getting inspired by new color and pattern combinations to use for our work! Some of the gorgeous marbled papers we’re oohing and ahhing right now:

Summer Wedding Affair Success

If you missed out on StudioWed Atlanta’s event of the summer last night, here’s your chance to catch up! We had over 70 attendees in our studio; a mixture of engaged couples, industry professionals and our very own talented vendors. Janet Howard Studio covered the event, snapping photos of the StudioWed set-up, mingling guests and the array of delicious food and beverages.

Phenomenal Food by Screen Shot 2015-07-15 at 1.08.28 PMChef Holly catered the event. Along with the pictured Four Cheese Mac n Cheese topped with Honey Drizzle Fried Chicken, they served Smoked Salmon Cones, Kale Salad and Shrimp Grit-tinis.

Unique Event Elements completed the drape and lighting set-up for the event around our main table. Pink uplighting set the mood as Amp’d Entertainment spun some cocktail party rhythms for the crowd.

Guests could also take countless silly, fun pictures in front of Shutterbooth‘s successful photo booth set-up, featuring a sparkling gold, sequin backdrop.

In Full Bloom

Choosing your wedding flowers is not a minor decision. They will appear at your reception as both decor and centerpieces, in almost every formal photograph, alongside each groomsman and bridesmaid and most importantly, in the bride’s own hands. On the topic of summer weddings, it is important to check out which flowers are in season during the time period of your set wedding date.

Seasonal summer flower guides such as the ones featured on these websites are key to creating the bride’s perfect flower arrangement:

Check out one of our talented vendors… Bloomin’ Bouquets! They recently covered Will & Ashley’s wedding with a reception at the Callonwolde Fine Arts Center.
