All of our favorite magazines struck idea gold at Bridal Market this year: they brought along photographers to the shows! I think that’s genius. It’s instant gratification from them to us as they blog, tweet, and share the dresses hot off the runway.

Weddings Unveiled Magazine has the inside scoop on lots of good shows, but I loved their photos from Michael Norwood of the Badgley Mischka Bridal Collection. Here is my favorite, but don’t miss the other fabulous new designs over at their Completely Unveiled blog!

It looks like belts are going to be huge for Spring 2011. They are popping up everywhere at Bridal Market.

I am seriously loving the lace detailing and the trumpet silhouette.

This stylish cocktail dress by BCBGMAXAZRIA is hands down my favorite party dress I’ve featured on the Daily Dress so far. Not only does it have my favorite feature in the world, pockets, but it also has an elastic waist for comfort and figure flaunting, a belt for added style, and a fabulous graphic print on the shoulder and hem. In a word, it’s perfect. I’d wear it everywhere.

My trusty Honeymoon Friday sidekicks were out of the office this week (my guess is on a fabulous vacation!), so I had free reign on today’s travel post. And let me tell you, it was hard! There are so many options, so I headed over to The Knot for some help. There I found their Top 4 African honeymoon destinations, and I knew I had found my inspiration! So here are the best locations when you’re looking for something a little more exotic and a little more interesting.

1) Seychelles Islands

It’s a little hard to get to (sometimes you have to take three or four flights), but the views and beaches are worth the trip! Island-hopping is a must.

2) Mauritius

I remember learning about the island of Mauritius in my middle school French class and making a mental note to go there one day. It has a rich culture and is a melting pot of different nationalities.

3) South Africa

South Africa has a nice mix of water activities, wildlife and nature excursions, and city nightlife. There is a ton to do, and it’s easier to get to than the other small islands off the coast of Africa.

4) Marrakech, Morocco

Marrakech is perfect for history buffs and adventure enthusiasts. You can tour palaces and shop local markets like the Place Djemaa el-Fna. It’s an outdoor nighttime market with all sorts of out-there vendors: jugglers, acrobats, monkey tamers, healers, fortune tellers, fire eaters, food vendors, magicians, etc. The word “bazaar” comes to mind immediately, and I would absolutely LOVE to get to this place one day!
