I love the metallic hint to this warm white brocade cocktail dress from Laundry by Shelli Segal. It also features two of my favorites: pockets and an exposed back zipper. Now, if only there wasn’t that whole Southern no-white-after-Labor-Day rule…
Today’s Daily Dress is the last in my series of plus size wedding dresses, but definitely expect to keep seeing them. When I run across a beautiful, well-made, and perfectly cut plus size wedding dress, this will be the first place it goes!
Sydney’s Closet is a plus size specialty online shop featuring all kinds of dresses in sizes 14-44. I loved this dress in particular for its trendy one-shoulder look and ruching on the bodice. The back detail is beautiful as well.
As fun as it’s been picking out dresses to share with you guys every day, I decided that some of these posts need a little more. So when the inspiration strikes, expect a little more fun and a little more in the way of shoes, handbags, jewelry, tights, makeup, and so much more to complete the look!
In This Look:
I found the Anlo Hailley dress on Piperlime and immediately fell in Dress Love with the color (my personal favorite), back detail, and buttons on the sleeves. I thought back to the pictured Nine West “Hereiam” black suede platform heels (which I’ve had bookmarked forever!) with the ruching and buttons on the heel. Such a perfect pairing! I would complete the look with the totally hot patterned + back-seamed tights from Nordstrom and a multi-strand necklace from Stella & Dot. Whew, that was a lot, but oh man, I love this look!
I could see this being worn to a friend’s casual wedding with the addition of a boyfriend blazer. Let me know what you think! Is this a look you would wear for any of your pre-wedding events?
