I love the way Janet Howard captures people. Her photos may be high fashion, but they never lack emotion. Reader Kelly C. commented on the last Winter Wedding Inspiration post with her favorite winter wedding color scheme: deep red, black, and cream. I already had a deep red and gold color scheme in mind, so I combined the two and ran with it. Polyvore provided the perfect items for this look filled with Gothic inspiration, textures, and repeating patterns: a red velvet clutch, black Victorian lace earrings, a Jane Norman dress with one-shoulder lace-and-flower detail, a gold lace necklace, and a John Hardy black sapphire silver-and-gold ring.

Rounding out the look is a laser cut-out bootie by Charlotte Olympia, a Kenneth Jay Lane opal crystal ring, a red-and-black flower brooch, a red velvet double-arm tufted chaise lounge, a Midnight Suzani vase by Z Gallerie, and a small cherry bud vase from Crate and Barrel.
