Winter Wedding Inspiration: Winter White, Gold, and Silver

pearly white, gold, and silver wedding

This week’s winter wedding inspiration color scheme and inspiration board (done on Polyvore, of course!) features lots of pearl and winter white, gold, and silver. I also chose lots of multi chain jewelry and bouquet shapes that could be carried throughout the wedding. This is just such a classic color combination that suits a winter wedding well without going overboard.

Here’s where to find the items on this board: Topshop studded jumper, “Girlie” Nine West pumps, DVF clutch, Juicy Couture flower cluster ring, delicate Montse Esteve flower ring, Ranjana Khan chain earrings, pearl flower bridal brooch by Avalaya Jewelry, and a Jessica Simpson multi chain silver and gold necklace. Sign me up for one of everything!

My Favorite Photo: Lakeside Ceremony by Janet Howard Studio

I love the way Janet Howard captures people. Her photos may be high fashion, but they never lack emotion. This photo, from the Something Old Something New event, shows a model underneath a chuppah by the Ritz-Carlton Lodge floral team. Stay tuned for photos from the whole ceremony and reception set-up!

Winter Wedding Inspiration: Deep Red, Black, & Gold

Reader Kelly C. commented on the last Winter Wedding Inspiration post with her favorite winter wedding color scheme: deep red, black, and cream. I already had a deep red and gold color scheme in mind, so I combined the two and ran with it. Polyvore provided the perfect items for this look filled with Gothic inspiration, textures, and repeating patterns: a red velvet clutch, black Victorian lace earrings, a Jane Norman dress with one-shoulder lace-and-flower detail, a gold lace necklace, and a John Hardy black sapphire silver-and-gold ring.

Rounding out the look is a laser cut-out bootie by Charlotte Olympia, a Kenneth Jay Lane opal crystal ring, a red-and-black flower brooch, a red velvet double-arm tufted chaise lounge, a Midnight Suzani vase by Z Gallerie, and a small cherry bud vase from Crate and Barrel.

So what do you think? Could you see yourself having this kind of Gothic-inspired wedding? Let me know in the comments!
