To work in the wedding business, you have to seriously love all things weddings: stationery, flowers, dresses, food, table linens, photography, decor…everything! So to be at the Inspired Bride event on September 12 was like being a kid in a candy store for me.
Everywhere you looked there were flowers, food, dresses, and stationery, and don’t even get me started on the inspiration overload that was the design gallery! It was so over-the-top that it will get its own special post. If you weren’t able to make it to the event, here are my favorite pictures from our 2nd Annual Inspired Bride event. You can still get in on the innovative inspirations!
The Floral Market
Our three florists, Aesthetic Floral and Event Artistry, Le Jardin Francais, and The Savage Garden, put together their favorite blooms to help guests pinpoint their floral style.
The Fashion Shows
Everyone knows that a bride’s favorite planning pastime is picking out her dress. Our fashion show featured day and night looks for both the bride and her attendants. A big thanks to Etain Bridal Boutique for helping us select gowns for our brides’ viewing pleasure.
The Food
Endive brought plenty of their signature dishes with them, including strawberry salad with poppy seed vinaigrette and crispy tacos. But they also brought along a shrimp and grits bar this time–so good! Round that out with a s’mores station from Peachy Treats, a gelato cart from Dreamy Gelato, pastries from Tasty Pastry, and cupcakes from Sweet Sensations, and this party was definitely not lacking in the food department!
The Inspiration and The Fun
Brides were able to browse our design studio, mingle with vendors and other brides, enjoy live entertainment from Livin’ Large and Lethal Rhythms, and win giveaways from our awesome event sponsors. Is it too early to start getting excited about next year’s Inspired Bride?
Our vendors work so incredibly hard preparing for and working at these events, and I am so thankful for everything they do. A big thank you to our brides, too! We love being inspired by you and hope you got a bit of inspiration from this event, too!
Thank you thank you thank you to Andrea Taylor Studio and Rae Leytham Photography for the photos!
