Vendor Spotlight: Prime Source Entertainment

For more than 20 years, Prime Source Entertainment has been the premiere agency of choice to book bands and alternative entertainment for events across the Southeast. They strive to ensure the music and entertainment for your event will meet and exceed your expectations.

The band you select for your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner will make the difference between a normal wedding and an exceptional wedding! With more than 35 genres to chose from they have something to make your special day unique!

These wedding bands and musicians will make every effort to accommodate your needs on your wedding day.
Most wedding bands will make announcements as requested by brides or wedding planners, provide recorded music on their breaks, take requests from their repertoire, learn one song for a first dance or play requested songs with pre-recorded music, provide state of the art sound and lighting and most importantly, work with you, your wedding planner or coordinator to ensure your wedding’s success!

Here are some tips from Prime Source Entertainment for booking the perfect wedding dance bands for your special event:

1. Listen to audio and watch video of as many wedding bands as you can. Prime Source Entertainment Group has hundreds of wedding bands and the typical cover band has multiple audio and video samples available on our website.

2. Thoroughly read client feedback. Many of our entertainment buyers who have booked or hired a wedding band with us have given us feedback about their experiences.

3. Book early. A great wedding band might need to be booked 3 to 6 months in advance.

4. Our agents are here to help. Call us today so we can help with any questions you may have. We will discuss details like power, stage size, song lists, and announcements along with any other items that if handled on the front end, will make your event simple and flawless.

Be sure to check out the Prime Source Entertainment website and follow them on TwitterYouTube and Facebook for the latest information and examples of their fabulous work!

Through The Veil brought a glimpse of sunshine to this rainy wedding day

Through The Veil has given hope to outdoor brides everywhere that no matter what the weather you can still have a beautiful wedding day. We love the sunshine, but when Mother Nature gets involved all bets are off. In Adam and Abby’s case they made the best of their big day and it couldn’t have been more special. Watching their highlight video you would have never guessed their Plan B wasn’t Plan A.

The location was absolutely gorgeous. The natural setting and breezeway made for a breathtaking video. When thinking about May in Georgia freezing temperatures don’t come to mind, but the fireplaces made the space warm and cozy for the I-do’s.

The stunning beams in the ceiling, sparkling lights and a great band made reception one to remember. You would’ve never known a storm had passed through this party by the energy at the reception. The weather doesn’t have to ruin your big day, it can be an opportunity in disguise because we all know there’s gonna be a rainbow after the storm!

Check out the entire highlight film for Abby and Adam’s wedding to see how their wet wedding day turned into a dream come true.

Be sure to check out Through The Veil on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with all of their fabulous work!

StudioWed shows off Summer Inspiration

Okay, so bottom line is that it is finally hot. And of course, good ole Atlanta weather doesn’t gently welcome us into spring – it straight up makes us sweat or shiver, one day to the next.

But one good (GREAT) thing about the new, hot season? Seeing the new, hot trend take over our StudioWed window display.

Why this important to you, the brides? It’s a perfect place to start gathering inspiration for your own celebration that’s months away, or already planned for next year (congrats to those of you just engaged!).

The ladies withIt Takes Two Events (our cute, pocket-sized planning sisters) spearheaded a fresh take on bright colors and bold patterns perfect for either an indoor or outdoor fete. Event Drapery framed the shot in creamy Ivory Satin drape, while We Rent Atlanta delivered crisp, Crystal Flex Chairs to baseline the minimal, modern design.

Blossoms Atlanta crafted pops of floral accents, complete with beloved moss and crystal mosh-ups. Hi Note impressed again with wooden cut-out menu cards and fun escort cards, plus the stationery suite is something that stops everyone at the door.

Sugar Style Events dotted the tablescape with colored sticks of Rock Candy (throw back!) and white chocolate lollipops, polishing off the clean look of Nuage Designs linens with something mouth-watering.

One thing I absolutely HAVE to brag on is the artistic flair of Charlotte Ryerse – one of the associates at It Takes Two Events. This chick whips out markers and sketches out things that dreams are made of – In fact, they are so cool looking (and she is just SO talented) that the team ended up included her sketches in the overall display. Swing by and see what it’s all about.

Just in time for summer this new sweetheart table, Destination Chic, would be perfect for any destination wedding! La Fete out did themselves with this beach inspired tablescape. It is a combination of the natural look of the seashore and trendy corals and turquoise. The table is accented with a few simple shells and starfish to compliment the wooden chairs, candles and tableware. This look will fit right in with the sparkling white sand!

The stationary is provided by Papered Wonders. Inc., rentals by We Rent Atlanta and linens by Connie Duglin Specialty Linen.

Tassels and lanterns and candles, oh my! A Big To Do Event went above and beyond designing this Moroccan-inspired sweetheart table. If you are looking for something beautiful and unique than this is the table for you. The bold jewel tones and flower buds add a touch of romance to this candlelight dinner.

The gold chairs are provided by We Rent Atlanta and stunning linens by Connie Duglin Specialty Linen.

It feels like summer in this southern garden. The Funky Shack Art Studio takes all the credit for this picturesque tablescape. Any bride would be in bliss surrounded by these seasonal Lenten Roses and antique lace and burlap linens.  With rustic silverware, white teacup candles, and old country novels, this scene brings you back home.

I am so proud of this team of vendors – for creativity, for fresh ideas and for pulling off a design scheme just DAYS before one of it’s leaders tied her own knot.

Special thanks to Gregg Willett Photography for capturing these beautiful scenes.

Make sure to stop in and browse the bauble – And book them while they’re hot :)
