The lovely ladies of the Bride Room just returned from their annual Spring Bridal Market trip to New York!
Here’s what they have to say:
“This season, our designers were at once fabulous and understated; sculpted and soft; safe and daring; romantic, sexy, traditional, and modern. Strapless still dominates the runway, but we are seeing the return of the sleeve and innovative uses of coverage. Belts are still making a powerful statement, as well as texture, ruffles, and the beloved sweetheart neckline.
Some of our favorite recurring themes had to be the use of subtle color on gowns – blush tones and rich honey hues; the return of decadent, luxurious fabrics like silk mikado and silk satin; and the obvious, relevant, ever-present influence of a-wedding-fit-for-a-princess.”
Sounds amazing!!! One of my very favorite details of a wedding day is The Dress… I’m so excited to see what the new crop looks like! Here’s a few of the dresses I love the most from their post…
See their original post here, and check back with them later in the weeks to come for more bridal market news!
