PARIS Accessories Trunk Show at the Bride Room

Mark your calendars for the weekend of November 11th & 12th… the Debra Moreland PARIS Accessories Trunk Show is coming! And Debra herself will be there!

From The Bride Room:  “There is absolutely nothing about this collection we don’t love — from the unique, intricate designs to the the amazing people who handcraft every single piece that is ordered — the whole company operates from a place of love for their craft.

“So we invite you to be a part: Debra herself will be visiting the store November 11 + 12 and meeting, by appointment, with our sweet brides. If you are looking for a veil, some jewelry, a gift for your mother. . .you need not miss this show. We promise you, you’re not just purchasing accessories, you are discovering treasures – the kinds that become heirloom pieces for your sisters, your children and your grandchildren.

Please call or email to set up your appointment soon; Debra is always a very popular guest!

Photo of the Week

Love this at-home wedding, complete with horses and goats! Precious! By Justin Wright.

Inspiration: Eloise

One of my most beloved childhood stories was Eloise. Lovelovelove. What I love even MORE than the book is Hillary Knight’s illustrations’ color scheme:  Pink (all shades), black, white, yellow. So much to do with such pretty colors! Here’s what I whipped up…

From top left, clockwise:  roses with striped ribbon, black poodle, silk flower bouquet, striped suite, pink and yellow blooms, black striped straws, pretty pink wedding, raspberry chocolate cake, frothy gown, bridal bouquet, pink-tinted gown, plaza print, raspberry dessert shots, striped cake, eloise by kay thompson, printable suite by MS, macaroons, a wedding in paris, tall round cakes, pink wedding with striped details, french dessert tray.

Inspiringly,

~ Kelly

Photo of the Week

I simply had to pick this as this week’s featured photo; I started working with Kendel this past June (she was the first bride I booked to plan for A Delightful Day), and what a lovely lady she is in her Vera Wang gown! I just adore this picture that captures the very essence of their new little family during her and Jeffrey’s ceremony at Cheekwood.

You can’t tell, but it was drizzling chilly rain throughout their ceremony. I love that despite the rain (it is good luck, after all!), nothing could put a damper on their spirits. Thanks to Lotus Blossom Photography for capturing this!
