logo2The Southeast’s one-stop wedding resource for Weddings. Beyond Details will orchestrate your Wedding Day from beginning to end. We will help you create an unforgettable Ceremony and Reception that guests will talk about for years to come. At Beyond Details, our motivation is our client, each being different and unique. Get to know Amber:

1. What is your favorite vacation spot? — Surprisingly, Nashville used to be my

favorite vacation spot. Now that I live here – any place where there is a beach and warm

weather will be good enough for me!

2. Favorite Nashville hangout? — Oh there are so many! I love coffee shops so you

may see me hanging out at Star Bagel or Just Love every now and then.

3. What is your favorite sport? Football – Go Bucks!

4. What makes you stand out? — My personality helps me stand out more than

anything. I will start a conversation with a complete stranger and act like I’ve known

them for years.

5. What does your ideal day look like? —  I LOVE

coffee, so that’s first. I prefer to answer emails and

work on proposals right away in the morning and

coffee usually helps with that. As the day goes on I

will reach out to new [and existing] clients and

research the latest wedding trends. Most of the

preparation for the weekend events will begin near

the end of the week. An ideal week ends with

successful events and happy clients!

What Beyond Details Offers:

Beyond Details offers catering, event planning & floral

design. We have an amazing staff who will go the extra mile to make sure we exceed our

client’s expectations. Not only do we strive for perfection when it comes to the quality of

our food, but presentation falls close behind. If you are looking for a caterer or florist, we

would love to meet you!

What Others Are Saying:

  • “Beyond Details is the catering company that will go above

and beyond the call of duty. Apart from having absolutely

delicious food, they are a delight to work with and

incredibly professional all the way around. They have done

several smaller events at the Musicians Hall of Fame as well

as a recent one of over 600 guests and completely knock it

out of the park every time. Absolutely love them – my first

recommendation every time!”

  • “Amazing. I am a banana pudding snob, and these were some of the best desserts I

have tasted. I had 6. Confession. Their Key Lime Minis and Chocolate ganache smores

were also amazing. Not to mention, the staff were all so nice and as soon as I got done

eating they immediately came by to grab my dish.”

  • “Attentive staff, and exceptional desserts”

How to Change Your Name…Step by Step!

Finally being able to change your name, could feel like the icing on the (wedding) cake! This is such a monumental occasion! This can also be very confusing…that’s where we come in!

This blog will take you through the step-by-step process of how to change your name in the state of Tennessee. Whether you choose to add your new last name to your old last name, or if you choose to take your spouses last name all together, you’ll know the in’s and out’s of changing your last name by the end of this blog!

Step 1: You will need to get a “Petition for Change of Name” form, from your county clerk’s office.

Step 2: Fill out the form!

Step 3: Take the form (completed) along with proof of your identity and residency to your county clerk’s office.

Step 4: You will have to pay a ‘filling fee’ (these vary by county).

Step 5: Apply for a brand new driver’s license with your beautiful new last name, at your DMV.

Step 6: Be sure to change your name of your accounts at your bank and anywhere else that is important (SS office, workplace, etc.).

Step 7: Enjoy the married life!!! It’s an excuse to get everything you see monogrammed with your new monogram! ;)

Wedding Tip – Feed your Vendors!

Check out this helpful #weddingtip from our friends, StudioWedBox!

Tip :: Your vendors are going to need to eat while working all night at your wedding. Which means you will need to provide them with a vendor meal. Make sure to ask ahead of time if your vendors have any allergies and how many meals they will need (especially when it comes to the band). Trust us, you want your vendors to be happy while working at your wedding. No hangry vendors, please!

Vendor Spotlight : Amy Lynn Larwig, MUA

About Amy Lynn Larwig, MUA:

Amy Lynn Larwig began pursuit of her dream at the age of 16, doing special events and parties on the VA Coast. After countless faces, shoots, and studying abroad Amy Lynn’s artistry style has emerged and flourished. She humbly accredits this to a philosophy that a bride’s look must be customized to fit her; ensuring that she not only looks, but feels like the best version of herself.

Get to know Amy Lynn:

1. What is your favorite vacation spot? —  Navarre, FL. Quiet little white sand beach I’ve been going to since I was a tiny kid and it hasn’t changed AT ALL.

2. Favorite Nashville hangout? — I’m in 12S a lot. Take my son to Sevier Park, grab a Popsicle, hit one of the restaurants/bars.

3. What is your favorite sport? — Sport? I don’t know if this counts but, I love being on the water. Paddleboarding or Kayaking. I also love hiking. Organized sports, not so much.

4. What makes you stand out? —As a human being? I’m a hot mess most of the time. I’m pretty far removed from anything girly with the exception of my job and my love of glitter. I make things out of wood, mostly art/home decor and some furniture. I try to use what I’ve learned from being around so many women for so long to challenge ideas of femininity.

As far as a wedding vendor goes, the thing that makes me/us stand out is our ability to bring a calming energy into a room. We do great hair and makeup, sure. But we set the tone for the rest of that bride’s day.

5. What does your ideal day look like? —  My ideal day is being outside in the sunshine, drinking beer, and being around people. If those 3 elements are in place, its a good day.

What Amy Lynn Larwig + Associates Offers:

Hair and makeup services for all events as well as corporate/commercial/music shoots and videos

What Others Are Saying:

Would not have changed a thing about my wedding day experience…Amy showed up and worked her magic. She was even able to accommodate a slight change to my updo from my run-through and it was GORGEOUS…I felt like a princess for my big day! My wedding party was also beautiful. Thanks to Amy and her assistant for making us beautiful! – Laura
