Okay, okay, I know I’m jumping the gun. It isn’t even halfway through October yet, and already I’m swooning hardcore over snowy winter wedding details. Maybe it was Emily’s inspiration that got me started, maybe I’m just pining over Christmas, maybe it’s just the frigid cold weather we’re experiencing today after the rain brought that cold front last night… regardless, I bring to you today nothing but chilly gorgeousness. It seems like everyone’s talking about the “Something Old, Something New” Wedding Consignment Sale going on this upcoming weekend in Nashville! If you’re looking for anything from candelabras to actual wedding gowns, cupcake stands to mason jars… check out the event on Saturday, October 22nd from 9am – 3pm at the old Faccio Bridal location (600 Frazier Drive, Franklin, TN 37067).

The little white dress is by no means a “new” trend in the world of weddings, but boy, I can get smitten over one! It all started with my scheming for a Halloween costume for this weekend’s party at my childhood friend’s home. I figured after two years of posing as the wedding planner, it’s time for me to be bride!!! :) (Let’s call it practice for what should be next year’s reality!)

My costume for this weekend will consist of a Max & Cleo white satin frock (above the knee… ooer!) and some hot pink peep-toe pumps, my sister’s real wedding veil, and a hot-rolled updo (not to mention the pretty little vintage faux engagement ring I like to sport sometimes!). Getting into the spirit of it brought forth this little board of lovelies (many of which you can order through The Bride Room!)
