I hope everyone got the chance to watch StudioWed’s own Lorie Burcham of Crumb de la Crumb on the Food Network Challenge last Sunday (don’t worry if you did miss it– it’s airing again on Tuesday the 15th at 5pm!).

Lorie joined three other cake designers (all hand-picked by the Food Network) for the challenge of creating a delicious, jumbo bug cake with moving parts. Each cake had to be at least three feet tall and built proportionally to scale!

Lorie won 2nd place! Congratulations! Your spooky creation was just amazing. :)

Valentine’s Day means two specific things to me:  1. A massive influx of pink. And 2. Chocolates! You can be as shamelessly romantic, girly, frou-frou, saccharine-sweet, and indulge your every whim.
