If you’re still on the hunt for your perfect signature drink to display at your wedding, hunt no more! This yummy recipe will be a huge, ‘smashing’, hit at your wedding during these hot summer months.

Here’s what you need:

• 6 fresh basil leaves
• 1 lemon halved
• 2 tbs. Simple Syrup
• 4 black berries
• 2 oz. bourbon
• crushed ice

Using some type of muddler or wooden spoon, smash basil, lemon, black berries, and simple syrup in a glass. Add bourbon. Transfer to glass of your choice. Fill with crushed ice, and stir. Garnish with basil an blackberries! Try this out at home before you choose it to be your signature drink!

Hello August!

Can you honestly believe that it’s August already? August is so bittersweet for me, because I love the warm August weather, but it’s also the ending of summer. But with that being said, fall is just around the corner, YAY!
