Engagement Session: Casey & Josh

Not too long ago, Sharon from Jonathon Campbell Photography emailed me this gorgeous engagement session and I squeeled with delight. I love Bicentennial Mall State Park and the Capitol building for photos – its just so Nashville! Jonathon captured Casey and Josh’s love for one another perfectly. On Jonathon’s blog he mentioned that Casey and Josh “danced like no one was watching” – and we all said “AWWW!!” {tear}.

Amy Lysyczyn started Photo Booth Nashville a little over 3 years ago because when she was planning her own wedding 4 years ago she wanted a photobooth at her reception, but quickly found there was no photobooth rental company in the state.  Rather all those that serviced this area came from other states which meant less LOCAL hands-on customer service and a lot more money to bring them in from elsewhere.  With the support of her husband, Jeff, Photo Booth Nashville was created to help you, THE BRIDE, and to bring some extra FUN to your event!

What makes Photo Booth Nashville different than surrounding competitors?
Our photobooths are real photobooths, not homemade curtains with a camera on a tripod inside. Unlike imitators, Photo Booth Nashville is Tennessee’s exclusive dealer for the Model 12 all-digital photobooth, the industry standard.  Our booths weigh over 800 pounds and feature ten-second photo delivery, easy to use touch screen operation, and dye sublimation printers – the same printers used by professional photo developers.  We are the “Vera Wang” so to speak of the photobooth world.

How easy is the process of renting a photobooth from Photo Booth Nashville?
It’s as simple as one, two, three.   1.  You lock down your rental date with a signed rental agreement and $500 deposit with your remaining balance due within 30 days of your event.  2.  If you have opted for customized graphics we’ll touch base with you about a month out to get those taken care of very easily through email.  3.  We work with your planner or the venue to determine what time we load-in/out and how we handle the day of logistics. And beyond that we take care of the rest and you won’t have to deal with us until you see us at your reception.  You won’t miss us because we’ll be in the area where there is a line all night long of your guests who are all giggling and having a blast!  You will find we will be the easiest vendor you deal with throughout your entire planning process and on your big day!

What is a FUN fact about Photo Booth Nashville?
When Amy and her husband first started their business they stored their first couple of booths in their garage for a short time.  Let’s just say, anytime guests visited their household a lot of FUN photos were taken and typically late at night.  Of course, it was merely for testing purposes to make sure the booths were operating properly.
J Now all booths reside in a storage facility in Rutherford County.

5 Things to Know About Elegant Event Sitters, Inc.

1. My name is Tish Davis and I am the owner of Elegant Event Sitters, Inc. I am a single mom of 3 girls in the greater Atlanta area. The business was started in 2004 as a way to supplement income from a full time job in payroll(boooooooooring). As a single mom, I was often faced with the dilemma of securing a sitter or simply just staying home. I soon realized that I was not alone! Parents (single or married) invited to adult-only functions need a something to do with their kids and they want the kids to be safe. I love making parents feel at ease and making sure that the kids have a great time with our sitters.

2. All of our sitters are First Aid and CPR certified and have annual background checks. Due to our work with the military, in some states sitters have been through Homeland Security screening. Safety is our number one priority. As a mom, I understand how difficult it is to leave your children in the care of a complete stranger. That is why we go through a strict screening process to make sure that parents are getting the best possible care for their little ones.

3. We’ve gone green! Making sure that the kids are safe goes beyond stranger-danger and boo-boos. Elegant Event Sitters, Inc. wants to make sure that children are protected from toxins and chemicals found in everyday products. I personally hand make all of the laundry detergent for the linens and blankets. Our cleaning supplies are all non-toxic brands. We typically use Mrs. Meyers, Shacklee or Method. Only non-toxic art supplies are use. Paper plates?? Not at our events! We only use reusable dishes and all of our plastics are BPA free.

4. Elegant Event Sitters, Inc. provides child care for all ages. We’ve had children as young as newborns and as old as 16. Age appropriate activities are key when it comes to mixing multiple age groups in one room. We have the parents pre-register their children online so that we know exactly what ages we will be working with at an event.

5. Elegant Event Sitters, Inc. started in Atlanta but has gone national. We’re working from GA to CA and everywhere in between. Nashville is our newest city and we’re hoping to be able to offer all Nashville brides the opportunity to Party in Peace™!
