We are excited to announce that Nashville Sweets, a Nashville-based boutique bakery specializing in hand crafted desserts to make any wedding extra delicious, has joined our amazing lineup of vendors! Nashville Sweets is a local boutique bakery in East Nashville built on the love of food, art and Jesus. Specialties include custom desserts such as cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and other confections. Founders Brittany Pulley and Danielle Worley believe every sweet can be art and should be beautiful, delicious and made with a whole lot of passion, care and laughter. Their creations reflect the style and personalities of their clients. Creative challenges and new projects are always welcome!

We are also delighted to announce a new service offered by one of our wedding entertainment vendors, Cosmo Creations.  In addition to the great sound and lighting services they already provide, they will now be our go-to vendor for photo booths! Read below for more information on this fun new option to make your wedding even more memorable.

What do you get when you toss your family, friends and guests into a photo booth, fit on some oversized sunglasses and bow ties, slap on a moustache and loop a feather boa around Great Aunt Sally? Hours of entertainment and fun, and unique keepsakes both you and your guests will cherish forever.

We are so excited about the January Newsletter we just got from one of our vendors, Southern Events Party Rental Company, especially this update on a new trend we love: Chevron Napkins!  Here’s a snippet from their newsletter:

Drumroll please! We are so excited to announce the addition of Chevron Napkins to our inventory. Chevron has practically taken over the design world and is hot, hot, hot for 2014 event decor. Now available in black, navy and silver, our Chevron Napkin is a perfect way to incorporate this stylish trend without going overboard. Take it from us, with any bold graphic or print, balance is key (and often less is more). Using it as an accent piece will add a modern feel to your special occasion while still creating an elegant and timeless look.
Napkins are also a budget-friendly way to showcase a trendy look. It’s been quite a busy month at the studio, and after our recent addition of the delectable Nashville wedding cake bakery, Wolfe Cakes to the studio, we are so excited to announce that Silver Strings, a group of Nashville-based professional musicians, will be joining our all-star vendor lineup of wedding pros this year as well! What is Silver Strings? They say it best themselves: Whether it’s Bach, Beatles or Bublé…Lady Gaga or Lady Antebellum, Silver Strings adds class and sophistication to your wedding, reception, corporate event or special occasion…

You can even visit their website to listen to their recordings, watch live performances, and download their reception playlist! They are able to customize an ensemble based on your needs, whether that be a trio, quartet, etc. You can read more about their pricing and what their wedding package includes on their FAQ page.

We hired a DJ for our reception and a string trio for our ceremony. We considered having the same DJ set up for both events, but it was not much additional cost to have a string trio and we felt that having beautiful live music made a HUGE difference for our ceremony! Silver Strings did an amazing job and we would recommend them without hesitation. She was prompt and professional, very eager to incorporate our ideas and suggestions but also willing to provide us with guidance and recommendations of her own. Linda and her musicians are great! They will custom write any song that they don’t already have for you as part of their price. And they have a great selection of contemporary and traditional music. Linda is a unique and down to earth person who is fun to work with. They were responsible and very responsive. They are well known in Nashville and have a great reputation. -Frankie
