Real Wedding: Hillary + Don

One of my favorite couples of all time– to work with AND in general life– is definitely Don and Hillary, of Brocade Design Arts. You will probably never meet a sweeter, wittier, funnier, or more entertaining two people. To top things off, Hillary and I share a common thread of planning out our entire dream weddings before we were ever engaged {and subsequently changing our minds post-real-life-engagement}.

Hillary and Don’s real-life dream wedding is truly a DREAM… they said their “I do’s” off in a secluded and gorgeous part of Hawaii. From the compass details to the rosettes on her dress to those PALM TREES to the golf carts to those FLOWERS to their day-after wedding shoot where they JUMP IN A POOL (!!!), this is a wedding fantasy come to life. Dreamy dreamy. No wonder Style Me Pretty covered it!

PS:  I just couldn’t pare it down to less than this, so enjoy every second of these zillions of pictures of gorgeousness.

Amber Housley featured in Wedding Planner Magazine

Amber Housley‘s November 2010 wedding was featured recently in Wedding Planner Magazine!

From Amber’s blog (Sweet Tea & Lemonade):

The editors of WPM were looking for some of the top design trends we are seeing in wedding design and our predictions for how those trends will continue in 2012. I submitted Jennifer and Armand’s wedding with it’s bold color scheme of peacock blue and blends of tangerine and magenta, as a perfect example of the unexpected but beautiful color combinations that I’m seeing with my clients.

Wedding Planner Magazine is published by the Association of Bridal Consultants that I am an active member of and designated a professional Wedding Consultant.

Jennifer and Armand’s wedding has received so much love! You can view their feature in Munaluchi and also on Southern Wedding blog here and here.

Real Wedding: Natasha + Jeff

This Scarritt Bennett wedding and aVenue reception is just a Southern delight! Natasha and Jeff chose an ivory & black color scheme with pops of bright sunny yellow that shone in through so many sweet details. From their welcome bags (complete with Goo-Goo clusters and Loveless Barn postcards, as well as shots of Jack!) to the little red trolley that toted around the bridal party, their wedding looks like the most fun party ever! StudioWed vendors made the day happen! Kudos to the following… Mary Alice of A Delightful Day put together every little detail, Amy Lynn beautified the already gorgeous Natasha, Chef’s Market provided the tasty treats (love that Club Med salad!), Street Tuxedo had Jeff lookin’ dapper, and live ceremony music was played by Wedding Musicians Company.

As featured on Style Me Pretty!
