In the spirit of Wedding Experience week, read all about our upcoming signature event from this Ashley’s Bride Guide interview post!
How is The Wedding Experience different than a bridal show?
The Wedding Experience is comprised of both educational components and individual one-on-one conversations with quality vendors, so it’s like a hybrid of other events out there. It’s less overwhelming than a traditional bridal expo because we intentionally keep it intimate and focus on personalized attention. It’s also interactive: in between the mini-seminars, we have fun breaks where we’ll incorporate fun activities like a NearlyWed Game, and give tips on preparing yourself mentally and physically for the wedding day — even advice on buying a house! So much goes into planning a wedding and marriage, and we want to help the process go smoother! We genuinely care about the whole experience for our couples, so we’ve tailored the structure of our event to fit their needs.
Why should brides attend?
Brides (and grooms – we’re also unique in that we appeal to couples more than just brides!!) should attend The Wedding Experience to gain the knowledge necessary to have a positive wedding planning experience, to discover what all goes into planning such a production, and to prepare themselves for all the little things that inevitably come up. We’ve combined practical advice (like how to construct a timeline) with inspirational eye candy (hello, pretty tablescapes!) and plenty of time to discuss the intimate details of each couple’s wedding with quality, experienced vendors.
What can they expect?
The Wedding Experience is a stay-all-day event (not come and go like most bridal shows) from 2 – 6 p.m., Sunday, September 30. If you’re one of the first 20 brides to pre-register, you’ll receive a swag bag brimming with gorgeous goodies you won’t want to miss! The first half of the event will consist of four short seminars, educating couples about wedding planning in general, décor, wedding-day wellness, and catering. Then we’ll serve appetizers, drinks, and dismiss guests to mingle and view displays with our StudioWed vendors.
