One of the most fun and unique ways to personalize your wedding (as well as treat your guests to something special!) is to create welcome bags for them to receive upon arrival into town! Kristin Kaplan of Simply Stunning Events has written up a lovely post describing must-have contents and more for your welcome bag construction!!

See Kristin’s original post here! And for now, a little excerpt:
If you have many guests traveling from near and far for your wedding, it’s a wonderful touch to give them a welcome bag or basket upon their arrival! These serve as a sweet “thank you” for coming and also ensure that your guests are comfortable while away from home.
Each bag should include some basic comforts of home such as the following:
- Two small bottles of water
- Some small sodas
- Snacks (include something sweet and something salty)
- Individual packets of Advil or Tylenol
- A guidebook of things to do and places to eat in Nashville
- A note thanking your guests for coming
In addition to the basics, you can include basically anything you’d like! The most common “themes” that I see for these bags are the “Nashville” theme and the “couple” theme.
