About DJ Gerard: 

DJ Gerard has served metro Boston, southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod for nearly 20 years.  Taking over the business after a two year apprenticeship, he expanded and grew the business through college and made it the reputable, reliable service provider Sensational Sounds Boston is known for today!

In May of 2011, DJ Gerard pulled up his Massachusetts roots and, with a trailer full of speaker equipment, relocated to Music City, Nashville, Tennessee!  Embarking on an exciting new phase of Sensational Sounds, DJ Gerard is looking forward to making your Middle Tennessee event a musical success!

1. What is your favorite vacation spot? — Sanibel, FL!
2. Favorite Nashville hangout? — we shamefully go to Lockeland Table nearly once a week, does that count?
3. What is your favorite sport? — to watch, football!  GO PATS!
4. What makes you stand out? — I’m never “performing”; it’s not my show.  I’m there to be a courteous, professional master of ceremonies (not a stand-up comedian), and then I play some awesome music, well curated and well mixed.
5. What does your ideal day look like? — coffee, obviously.  Then a smoothie; more coffee… “Ideally”, I’d probably sit in a pool all day, taking breaks only to practice some mixing or researching more music.
