Amy and Chris were married at the Fontanel Mansion in September. Brocade Designs created the gorgeous invitation suite and signage, as well as all of the lovely wildflower-esque centerpieces and decor. A Delightful Day coordinated the event. Amy Lynn‘s assistant Ana Liza prettified the bridal party. Photos by Erin Lee.
Kristin of Simply Stunning Events recently posted a really valuable snippet of advice for planning brides!
I love that weddings are now more personalized than ever and DIY projects have become a big part of wedding planning HOWEVER it’s important to remember that you don’t need a ton of “stuff” to make your wedding unique and interesting. Keep it simple! I see so many brides buy a ton of random stuff on Etsy during the course of the engagement just because it’s cute but it doesn’t really have anything to do with their wedding and they find themselves wondering what to do with it all or where to put it. A few well-thought-out details go a long way, such as a unique guest book alternative, or creative table numbers, or a personalized favor that goes along with the style or vibe of the wedding. Your wedding will still be personal and special, and you won’t have a million little “things” to worry about!
Amen to that!
