What is a custom song or modified track?

Brent of Cosmo Creations: A bride and groom ask us to take a standard song that they like and do something different to it. [Real Bride & Groom] Melissa and Patrick’s song was slow, then we faded the song with a record scratch into an upbeat song.

Why would a couple want one?

Cosmo Creations: To add a signature wow factor. During their first dance, all attention is on the couple and they could be nervous. The first dance then cuts into something more fun. Sometimes couples have something choreographed; it loosens them and the bridal party joins. The hard stop of the song with a record scratch catches people off guard and changes the entire vibe.

Melissa and Patrick were super fun couple. Their song and dance was staged with bridal party but guests thought it was unplanned. Sometimes receptions can feel stuffy but this sort of surprise helps this helps people get loose and have fun faster. It’s a great ice breaker. The unexpected twist catches people off guard and generates laughter, changes the mood.

The custom song could also be good for father and daughter dances. The bride and father could start with “My Girl” then scratch to something like “Call Me Maybe”, if the bride’s dad is willing to let go and have fun.

During our design consultation, we will get to know you and your wedding day details. We will discuss wedding colors, style preferences and other details that make up your unique event. We will taste at least 3 of our delicious cake flavors and 2 icing types. Items such as your invitation, photos of your wedding gown or other decor may be brought to help us as items of inspiration in designing a perfectly perfect custom wedding cake. The consultation appointment will last 45 to 60 minutes and are held in our elegant meeting space.

Some of the delicious cake flavors offered by Royal Icing are as follows:  white almond, dark chocolate, coconut, and carrot! Tickle your tastebuds with some swiss meringue filling, fresh fruit, or cream cheese… and top it off with the buttercream, ganache, or fondant of your dreams! We had the opportunity to try three full-size cakes at the Studio and goodness, are they delicious! Personally? I recommend the coconut cake with swiss meringue — it’s like a day at the beach in your mouth!

Shed Media US & USA are casting dynamic couples who are currently engaged, but lack the funds to have a dream wedding.  Each episode focuses on one couple’s big day and what it takes to make the wedding happen.  The bride and groom agree to avoid all communication with each other for two weeks before the ceremony.  In exchange, the groom is given $20,000 to plan the entire wedding without the bride’s input. Have no fear; each groom ultimately creates a unique wedding to celebrate his true love and a chance to show his bride what he’s made of!

CASTING REQUIREMENTS:
– Must be over 18 years of age
– U.S. residents
– Currently engaged
– Willing and able to get legally married in December 2012.
– Have a few groomsmen and bridesmaids with big personalities willing to be on the show with you
– No long distance or destination weddings. You must be willing to marry within driving distance of couple’s residence(s).
